This introduction class is a basic one day course structured to create a foundation for shooters to continue with in any aspect of shooting . The course focus is weapon handling and familiarization , trigger control , iron sight or red dot uses and zero , and overall efficiency of pistol and pistol marksmanship .

EQUIPMENT NEEDED:

• 1 Pistol, Holster and 2 Mag Pouches
• Notepad and pen
• Eye and Ear Protection
• Shoes or boots, no open toe or sandals
• Lubrication for Pistol
• Medical IFAK suggested but not required

ROUND COUNT: 500 MINIMUM

Performance Pistol I is an initial familiarization class for those who have never handled a firearm or someone that has very little experience. It can also be a great refresher for those who have not shot in a while or have never taken a formal class before. If you do not own a firearm or recently purchased one, this is the class to attend.

This class is a great review of the basic principles of firearms and their safe handling. The principles of Performance Pistol I are the basis upon which all of our other courses are built. This course gives you a solid fundamental grounding and understanding of modern Performance Shooting and the use of the tactical pistol.

If in doubt about which course to start with, take this one before signing up for the next level. You will learn a great deal and improve your basic skill sets. This course is a solid foundation for a student to build on and move to the next level. We have found a unique blend of Tactical Pistol and Performance based shooting; a blend that focuses not only on Manipulation, but Marksmanship and Efficiency.

This course is an advanced course with prerequisites. Shooters will need to have completed a basic course from a reputable Company or Instructor (Email for Questions). The course focuses heavily on the speed and accuracy of performance shooting as well as a heavy focus on weapon handling; with the goal to create efficient handling and shooting in adverse conditions.

Performance Carbine 1  is where the foundation for performance carbine starts . This course will cover performance carbine fundamentals as well as heavy focus on rifle manipulation and safety. Performance carbine was developed to use the standards of carbine with the performance edge and competition shooting to round the edges and shape shooters with a diverse skill set to take to the next level

PACE Performance 1911 course is set up with the student in mind. Course will offer a 2 hour block of classroom geared towards 1911 maintenance and understanding. 

The rest of the class is a performance course tailored towards the 1911/2011, helping each student maximize the individual skills covered below. 

TOPICS COVERED:

• Classroom explanation of the 1911 and 2011 design (Includes Licensed Gunsmith on site to help shooters understand their personal firearm)
• Discussion of 1911 and 2011 myths and misconceptions
• Grip and recoil management of the 1911 and 2011
• Trigger control unique to the single action of both 1911 and 2011
• Reloading techniques for the 1911 (speed and tactical reload)
• Draw and presentation of the 1911 and 2011 (frame mounted safety techniques)
• Accuracy
• Speed and Rhythm drills
